So you have decided you want to create a blog and
spread your ideas or make some money or just for a hobby. Ok whatever reason
you have I am here to help. So first the question you have to ask yourself is
whether you want to invest in a blog or just make it for free. If you choose
the first option read this post to get you started but if you choose the latter
keep on reading.
Since you have chosen to create a blog for free I
have a few simple tips for you.
1)
Do not use a
free blogging platform to promote your business since it will make your
business look cheap.
2)
Do not use a
free blogging platform to make serious money from your blog since its very hard
to make a reputation (Trust me I have experience)
So if you still
want to make a free blog here’s how.
First things first let us choose a
blogging platform to use. The best choices are Blogger and Wordspress.com. In
this article I will use a blogger because it is good for a number of reasons (For
people who want to make money from internet without any sort of investment and
very easy to setup). So blogger is run by Google so your blog automatically
gets published to the search engine (You can choose to keep your blog private
from search engines if you want).
First to make a
blog you have sign up for blogger and make a free account. To do this you need
a gmail account so get one of those before you continue.
After you do
that you will met with a screen like the image below. Click on the New Blog
button I have highlighted.
When you do that
an image similar to the image below will appear.
Put a nice title
for your blog (The title of your business if you are going to promote it) in
the Title text box and a short and sweet and memorable domain name for your
blog there.
After that
select a template you like from there (My blog uses a variation of the Simple
blog template) and et viola you have a blog. Big hearted welcome into the world
of blogosphere my dear friend.
Explore the
settings to customize your blog.
Tip
1)
Create a Google
Plus account and share the articles you write to bring more traffic from
Google.
2)
Go to the layout
section to arrange and add new elements to your blog (Ads, share button, java
script functionality etc.)
